Obesity and Cardiovascular Diseases

Obesity is a leading cause of increased mortality and morbidity associated with cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). This study examines the relationship between rising body mass index (BMI) and the subsequent increase in CVD and high blood pressure rates using multivariate analysis and neural network models. Maintaining a healthy weight can reduce the risk of developing CVD. Obesity can also lead to arterial aneurysms, heart failure, hypertension, and kidney failure.
